Jessica Price, Med, NTP
Academic Success Manager
Jessica Price joined the AIHM team in May 2019. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Luther College and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of South Florida. She works to empower learners to achieve their goals by developing beneficial habits, behaviors, and optimistic beliefs through a well-designed learning experience.
Jess has lived and worked in different parts of the United States and other countries. She is a strong advocate for honoring global Indigenous peoples, their traditions, and sovereignty, as she understands how this directly impacts nutrition, health, biodiversity, and the regeneration of the planet’s ecosystems. She strives to provide opportunities for integrative health practitioners to learn together by facilitating virtual learning that encourages authenticity, vulnerability, connection, and growth. She believes that self-care, community care, curiosity, well-being, critical thinking, creative problem-solving, collaborative teamwork, balance, and self-reflection are essential values that must be fostered to address the necessary systemic changes required to combat racism, burnout, and disconnection.
Jess serves as the Associate Fellowship Director and actively supports equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives within AIHM. She is the staff liaison for the Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) Committee, working closely to support the execution of their initiatives to promote equity within the organization and the broader integrative and whole health community. Jess is committed to changing structures so they value and amplify the voices, experiences, and wisdom of historically and continually excluded communities, contributing to necessary changes to build an equitable future for all.
