Amber O’Neil
Education coordinator
Amber O’Neil brings an eclectic mix of know-how to AIHM, where she began working as the Education Coordinator in 2023. With her PhD in Psychology and over 19 years of experience in higher education, she has served as a tenured associate professor and in several higher education administrative positions. Prior to that she worked in human services in the disability field, earning her Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
Amber’s role at several universities included collaborative program development and creating strategic alignment with organizational goals. She has a commitment to inclusive teaching and learning and as an experienced educator in both face-to-face and online settings, she is well-versed in various modes of instruction, including synchronous and asynchronous formats.
She has always had the mindset that we can always help others maximize their potential and looks forward to contributing to the AIHM’s mission by fostering meaningful relationships, supporting learner and faculty success, and promoting the vision for the future of whole health and integrative medicine.
