Bill Meeker, DC, MPH

Executive Director

Dr. William Meeker is the current AIHM Executive Director, a former Board Chair, and the past president of the West Campus of Palmer College of Chiropractic in San Jose, CA. Prior to that he was Vice-President for Research for Palmer College of Chiropractic, Director of the Palmer Center for Chiropractic Research, and an NIH supported principal investigator. He is a former member of the National Advisory Council of the National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health at NIH, and a former member of the Governing Council of the American Public Health Association.

Currently, he is on the boards of the Integrative Healthcare Policy Consortium (IHPC) and the Foundation for Chiropractic Progress; and the Field Advisory Board of the Cochrane Collaboration for Complementary Medicine at the University of Maryland. Additionally, he serves on the editorial boards of The Spine Journal, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, the International Journal of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, and others. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers, books and book chapters, and has lectured extensively around the world regarding chiropractic, musculoskeletal disorders and integrative health.
