Scientific Director (Consulting)

We are seeking an experienced health care practitioner to serve as our medical director, who shares our passion for improving total patient care. The ideal candidate has an integrative and holistic care model background who understands how to address nutrition, stress management, and physical activity in combination with allopathic medicine to support total patient care and drug delivery.

We are looking for someone with experience in identifying patterns/symptoms (symptom mitigation) with drugs and diseases and how to address those factors in the real-world setting, and understanding how nutrition and food choices can impact a disease and patient’s symptoms and wellbeing. This person will work in collaboration with the team to capture patient-reported and health outcomes to support the journey of the patient through Viver’s evidence-based solutions.

This is a part time/consulting job that may lead to full time employment. The work is remote with flexible schedule and working hours.

Salary: Competitive

Qualifications and experience level:

Minimum of 7 years of experience working with patients, nurses, and/or healthcare system
Master level knowledge of integrative medicine, and experience with wellness programs a plus, not required
Knowledgeable and experienced in research methodology to be able to back up Viver’s mission of being evidence-based
Experience with oncology and rare diseases is a plus, not required
Expert in nutrition, stress management, lifestyle modifications to mitigate symptoms related to chronic diseases

Job responsibilities:

Produce content and build storyline for our solutions in print or digital format
Direct editors and copy editors on content and layout of materials
Collaborate with CEO/Founder to present materials to potential clients, and support sales calls with science”
