We are seeking a Functional Medicine Nurse Practitioner to join the collaborative, forward-thinking team at Flourish Counseling and Wellness Center, an integrative practice in Maryland that blends traditional psychotherapy, psychiatry, and medication management with holistic services such as functional medicine, nutrition, acupuncture, Reiki, mindfulness, and wellness coaching.

As part of our care model, you will collaborate with psychotherapists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, wellness coaches, and holistic practitioners to provide clients with a truly comprehensive treatment plan.
Membership Program
You will also play a key leadership role in our “Let Your Wellness Flourish” Membership Program—an innovative, tiered model of care that blends functional medicine, nutrition, group support, and wellness education. This program provides clients with access to advanced lab testing, nutritionist consultations, integrative coaching, and ongoing support from our multidisciplinary team. As the Functional Medicine NP, you will guide members through their wellness journey, helping them understand results, prioritize lifestyle interventions, and integrate recommendations into their daily lives.
Responsibilities
– Conduct thorough assessments to uncover underlying biological, lifestyle, and environmental factors contributing to mental health and wellness concerns.
– Order and interpret advanced lab testing (e.g., gut health, thyroid, adrenal, metabolic panels, hormone testing).
– Provide individualized treatment recommendations that integrate nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle guidance with clients’ mental health care plans.
– Collaborate with psychotherapists, psychiatrists, nutritionists, and wellness practitioners to deliver a cohesive, team-based model of care.
– Lead client education within the Membership Program, offering workshops, group sessions, and individualized guidance.
– Partner with clients to set achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate successes throughout their membership journey.
Qualifications
– Nurse Practitioner with Post-Graduate Certification in Functional Medicine.
– 3–5 years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in integrative, functional, or mental health settings.
– Strong ability to build rapport with patients and collaborate effectively within a team.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Passion for holistic, root-cause approaches and a belief in the power of integrative healing.
