AIHM Wellness Webinar ~ Beth Rosenthal, PhD, MBA, MPH
October 2 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm PDT
Registration required. REGISTER
SPEAKER: Beth Rosenthal, Ph.D., MBA, MPH
TOPIC: RX Self-Care for Practitioners and Patients
The need for self-care is absolutely essential, for our own well-being, as well as for those we care for and about. While self-care is undeniably important, it may feel impossible and/or inappropriate to take time for self-care. In this webinar we talk about why provider self-care is so important and engage in three evidence-based self-care practices. Options are provided for making practices into “1-minute” activities that can fit into busy lives. You will leave with practical strategies, skills, and tools that you can implement immediately to take care of yourself and share with others.
Beth Rosenthal holds MBA and PhD degrees from the University of Chicago’s Graduate School of Business, and a Masters degree in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley. Rosenthal is author of Replenish: A life enhancing activity book and It’s That Easy: The High Vibe Guide to Attracting what You Really Want. She has presented at venues ranging from the Golden Door Spa to non-profits serving disadvantaged families, assisting participants in clarifying what makes them happy and implementing plans to follow through on their chosen actions. As Director of Working Groups & Special Projects at the Academic Collaborative for Integrative Health, Rosenthal coordinates efforts of educators in the Integrative Health and Medicine fields to advance team-based integrative care. She lives in Chicago, San Diego, and Charlevoix (Michigan) throughout the year, and enjoys dancing wherever she is!
